Eventer was founded in 2017 by Sarah Colcord. She kicked off her event management journey when she was 17 years old by planning and delivering a 5,000 attendee, one-day festival in South Auckland. She went on to deliver another three young leadership conferences and several other community activations.
At the age of 20, she was elected to Local Government, and ever since then she’s been on a relentless pursuit to solve some of the biggest social challenges within her communities, leveraging her knowledge, skills and relationships she’s gained over the last 8 years in the youth development, event management and Local Government sector. Not to mention, she uses Eventer to give young people as young as the age of 17 paid work experience. We think that’s pretty cool.
We have a proven track record of delivering a variety of projects and events. From small scale community activations, to 4-day leadership forums for domestic and international delegates, to large community Festivals.
We pride ourselves on our extensive knowledge and skills that we’ve gained from more than 8 years in the youth development, event management and Local Government sector.
We’ve spent the last few years building meaningful, high-trust relationships with a variety of young people, community and youth organisations, small businesses and elected officials across Auckland and New Zealand.
We go hard, or go home. We only want to create purpose-driven solutions for you that create positive outcomes.
We push the boundaries, using the process of innovation to develop extraordinary, scalable ideas and solutions.
That’s 3 Festivals, 10 Conferences, 9 Community Activations, 5 projects, 2000 submissions collected from young people, 12 workshops, 9 leadership development sessions, 23 professional presentations, and 2 national awards.
